Job Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience andtechnical training preferred.
• 10+ years of combined telecommunications and/or network operations experience,including management of multi-layered teams.
• Experience working on network equipment in an ISP environment, a large NOC or othersuch teams associated with networking.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams of networking security andoperations engineers.
• Experience defining security and operations strategy and roadmap.
• Experience with system deployment and monitoring best practices (ITIL).
• Solid understanding of general service provider network infrastructureDWDM, OTN, SDH/SONET, MPLS, IP.
• Solid understanding of the operations (cabling policies, power availability etc) withindata center environments (Equinox, DRT etc.).
• Solid understanding of Datacenter M&E Operations.
• Exceptional strategic planning and leadership skills, with proven record ofrecommending and implementing process and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results; abilityto influence and inspire action through strong decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to departmentrequests and to collaborate with other to utilize their resources and knowledge to identifyhigh quality solutions.
• Based in Phnom Penn, Cambodia.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic vision for the Operations organization and provide theleadership and subject matter expertise to assure the consistent execution of this vision.
• Operate the NOC and have appropriate technical acumen to support wireless, broadcastand network assets.
• Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization's network.
• Troubleshoot issues (process & system), identify root causes, and proactively implementsustainable corrective actions.
• Analyzes network and recommends upgrades/changes; assesses organization's currentand future network needs.
• Oversee the management and implementation of large-scale projects and servicecontracts.
• Maintain and enhance a strong service-oriented environment for both internal andexternal customers, focused on problem prediction, detection and resolution.
• Maintain and update disaster recovery procedures and protocols.
• Develop and manage the Network Operations budget.
• Implement improved processes, which utilize technology, to improve jobs, processes,training, tools and overall work quality.
